Graphic design for digital involves creating visual content for digital platforms, such as websites, social media, and mobile apps.
This may include designing web banners, social media graphics, or email newsletters.
In designing for digital platforms, it’s important to have a strong understanding of digital platforms and their technical requirements.
Such requirements can include maximum file size, image dimension, image ratio, image type and etc.
Graphic design for print involves creating visual designs that are meant to be printed on physical surfaces such as posters, banners, magazines, books, billboards, stickers and packaging.
When designing for print, it is important to take note of certain requirements such as the need for proper bleeding, using the correct color mode, setting a suitable resolution, choosing appropriate paper quality, and ensuring the design is in the correct file format for printing.
Following these requirements will ensure that the final print product looks as intended and meets the desired quality standards.
